Just Because You Love Me And Think I Am Old

The old one should have said to a member of the family ... I know you're doing what you think is right for me, by stopping me from doing the things I used to do but just because it's right doesn't mean it's good for me. I understand you want to protect me from so many things but in truth you're taking away a part of me that makes living worthwhile, a part that makes my heart sing. You say I shouldn't do this or that anymore but the less I do ... the less I can do. You say that getting a new pet could be dangerous for me ... but you can't protect me in every way, nor should you, especially from the things that bring me great joy. if you take everything away that means something to me for my protection and leave me sitting here in my chair, I will have nothing left that makes me feel good and my want to live in a beautiful way will dwindle. Please know you will just be looking at an empty shell because you left me without what means the most to me thinking it was more important to protect me than to let me live life and experience life still. 😔
