Have You Stood in the Mirror

Have you stood in the mirror and told yourself how much you Love you? Your inner child has been waiting and waiting to hear those words. What it mostly hears is what is wrong with you. What it needs to hear is that it is Loved, accepted, and will always be acknowledged and that you will never, ever abandon it. Become the parent and tell your little one that from now on, you will be the parent and you will take care of all the big things and that it should just simply play and know how beautiful it is. (tell it beautiful things everyday). Many of us want to hear this from others, but that opens the doors for disappointment and to be let down, if they criticize us they take us down, if they walk out of our lives we loose the good feelings and feel abandoned. But when you become the parent, nobody and nothing will ever take this from you or your inner child again and you will find yourself feeling happy.
Have you told your body "thank you" for all the wonderful things it does every day? Stop for a moment and think about all the things that are working in your body. (we are really good at focusing on what is wrong with it). Thank your body for being able to hear the chimes in the wind, for the ability to see rainbows, for being able to feel the breeze on your skin, for the ability to bring food to your mouth with utensils (this was extremely difficult for my friend with MS) , for being able to speak, (those who have had a stroke struggle to say even just one word), for walking just a few steps, etc. And what about all the things your body does subconsciously to keep you alive?
You see, dear one, your body is a miniature universe and it listens to every word and feeling that is going on within you ... and brings that forward instead of what we want. When you start appreciating what is working, you body hears it is working, and now, little by little it will bring you better health ... that is ... if you stop telling your body what is wrong with it.
With Love, Unity
