Anger Towards Those Moving Little Creatures

An unusual story ... I was driving down a road when a turtle appeared in a not good position at all to keep crossing. So I pulled over and either put my blinker on or my flashers and went to assist the turtle in the direction he or she was going.

A man pulled up behind me and was just irate, screaming and yelling and almost foaming at the mouth and he pulled over the turtle so it was under his truck.

Well in the not so bright things that we do I crawled under his truck and got the turtle while he was yelling and screaming. I proceeded to carry the turtle over the road to the grass in the direction it was going. He was still yelling and screaming and even did so farther down the road when I passed him and he was parked on the side.

What came to my mind during that drive was I should have walked up to his window and said to him I wouldn't be so quick to be angry at the people who are saving the little creatures of nature because those are the people who will pull over and help you when you're broken down ... but hindsight is worth a million dollars and I didn't think of it then but I surely have it tucked in my pocket for the next time it happens.

So the next time you see someone helping a little creature, give a smile, touch your heart and understand they're the people making a difference and they are the people that will help you as well. 💗
